Back in 2007 Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank announced that they were forming a super group called TGT and had plans to release a new album and even go on tour.
Flash forward to the 2012 BET Awards that were held this evening in Los Angeles.
The trio appeared on the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium where they confirmed that the joint effort will be out by the end of the year and they will be zigzaging the country during their Shirts Off Tour.
Tyrese revealed that they have inked a deal with Atlantic Records and are eager to drop the record:
“It ain’t no rumor. It’s for real. At the top of the year, the album is dropping and we’re doing the shirts off tour for the ladies only.”
According to the singer there will be no techno, no autotune, just real RnB music.
